Valby Streets

Managed snap my outfit before heading out into central. Valby is most certainly a welcoming and chilled area, I would recommend staying here if you don't want to be smack bang in the centre of Copes. I scooped up this Acne Studios jumper in the Copenhagen Acne Archives & it's is still in stock online for the full price - can we just take a moment. A bloody great feeling nabbing a high end piece for a fraction of the price. The store is slightly smaller than the Stockholm branch but my gosh is it still worth a visit. LFW highlights have got me feeling oversized cuffs, so I layered this Boohoo steal (that i originally purchased with summer in mind) poking the tiered sleeves out the arms of the sweater. And yep... still wearing those Asos split front pants and finishing the look with my beloved Chloe fold over.

Keep an eye out for my next post - The Apartment Tour

Late Lunchin'

Of course we had to do the touristy thang and visit the Little Mermaid Statue in Copenhagen, whilst wandering in the area we stopped for lunch at the Babette Guldsmeden Hotels brasserie. I haven't before done a whole post to merely discuss food, but this restaurant is totally worth shouting about firstly for their recognition of using organic produce. Spoilt for choice I opted for mussels in white wine sauce with fries, although I would have happily taken anything from their deliciously considered menu. Now i'm new to Naturfrisk but their sparkling elderflower drink is TO die for (whilst still being organic) does anywhere in the UK sell this stuff? The staff made us feel completely relaxed, and allowed us to select the dining spot of our choice (I took the table with the fluffiest chairs, obvs), and whilst talking interiors, I was pretty happy with this one. Raw metals, mixed with wooden chairs, covered in faux fur and cow hides. Fully enjoyed this late lunch before heading off to the Den Frie. I also heard that this hotel has a spa.. definitely something to remember for next time eh.

Outfit of the day - Layers - CPH

Whilst out purusing through the streets of Copenhagen it was pretty chilly, although I tend to get rather stuffy when wearing a coat inside shops so I went for a layered look. Easy to take off and not too heavy to carry dependant on the temperature. I'm seriously obsessed with these ASOS cigarette pants, the split front makes them a little more interesting to wear with trainers (or mules or even sliced loafers), slightly more formal than straight leg jeans but still easy to throw on with a tee for that effortless city look. We spent the day shopping in the city in Samsoe and Samsoe, Acne Studios, Norr, Illum, Norse Projects and Hay to name a few, Copenhagen has some serious instagram-worthy store interiors so as you can imagine, I was lapping them up.
